Obituary of Bruce Wampler

Bruce Wampler, surrounded by family members, passed away after a prolonged illness February 19, 2009. He was 72. Born March 25, 1936 to Lee and Leola Wampler, he was a native of Washington State. In 1957 he joined the Navy and was discharged in 1959. Bruce later graduated from Chico State in 1975 with a degree in Civil Engineering. His engineering career spanned over 20 years. He was a member of the Austin Healey Club. Bruce was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie. He leaves behind two sons, Craig and Chris Wampler and a daughter, Heather Wampler-Dwyer along with six grandchildren, Nicole Moretto, Courtney Wampler, C.J. Crausby, Melissa Wampler, Stephanie Dwyer, and Joey Dwyer; and one great- grandson, Anthony Moretto.
