Obituary of Denice Drummond

Born August 24, 1958. Left us February 20, 2009, while playing in the snow at the cabin in Butte Meadows. She attended Notre Dame School in Chico, Durham High School, then went on later to Chico State to earn her BS degree in Nursing. Denice met her eternal fiance, Howard Stephen Horn and was engaged February 14, 1987. Denice is survived by her mother, Diane Drummond; sisters, Connie Leonard, Karan Drummond; children, Kristy and Bob Ruffing; immediate nieces and nephews, Troy, Nic, and Eryn Leonard, Eric and Malanda Batha, and Garrett Horn; and many grand nieces and nephews that were all dear to her heart. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Kristy and Bob Ruffing educational fund in care of Bruise Funeral Home. A memorial for the celebration of Denice's life will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Silver Dollar Fair grounds.
