Obituary of Anna Woodward

Anna Lisa Woodward peacefully went to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, March 21, 2010. She suffered from the effects of brain tumors. She was born in Chico, CA on October 27, 2000 to D.G. and Laurie Woodward. Anna liked sewing pillows, chewing gum, and making flower arrangements for the fair. She was generous with her money. She was homeschooled with her brother and sister. Together the family enjoyed trips to Lake Almanor, Texas, dinners with friends, and being home with the animals. Donations may be made to the Anna Woodward Memorial Fund to benefit The Well Ministry in Chico and the Oxen and Plow project to help families in Burkino Faso, West Africa, c/o Brusie Funeral Home, 626 Broadway, Chico, CA 95928. Anna is survived by her parents and her siblings, Alexa and D.G. IV; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Abigail Dauterman of Chico; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Shirley Woodward of Colusa and Janice Enos of Chico; great-grandmother, Alice Dauterman of Chico; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. Services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Gerber Bible Fellowship on the corner of Samson and Ventura in Gerber. A private family burial will be held Friday in Orland.
