Obituary of George Reynolds

A celebration of the life of George Reynolds will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012 at 1 p.m. along the Sacramento River at Sting-Rays Restaurant and Bar in Knights Landing, CA. George Reynolds, 72, a long time resident of Knights Landing, CA, passed away of natural causes on August 12, 2012 in Chico. He was born February 12, 1940 in Tuskegee, Oklahoma to Bruce and Lona Reynolds. George was retired from Safeway after 42 years. He was a life member of the National Rifleman's Assn. and the Knights Landing Sportsman's Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sitting at the "Office" shooting the breeze with his friends. Gregarious and friendly, he loved making you laugh, tell a great story, and was known for lending a hand. George was married for 53 years. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; his son, Steven Reynolds of Butte Meadows; his daughter, Linda Reynolds of Chico; brothers, Bruce Reynolds of Vacaville, Louis Reynolds of Knights Landing; his sister, Teresa Linge; 3 grandchildren, Cody, Ryan and Kamryn.
