Obituary of Dee Jay Clark

Dee Jay Clark was born on May 15, 1943 in Susanville, CA to Milson Clark and Elva Lee Woodrum-Clark. He grew up in a large family with 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He graduated from Chico Sr. High School in 1960, served in the U.S. Army and worked for National Cash Register for 36 years. He enjoyed boating and camping with his family. He also enjoyed working on cars and computers. He was a member of the Elks Lodge for over 30 years and he loved to go there and play pool and cards with his friends. Dee Jay passed away peacefully in his sleep October 29, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Clark; his son, Scott Clark and daughter-in-law, Sarah Clark; his daughters, Sherrie Clark and Stacie Williams; grandchildren, Ryan and Abby Clark (Scott), Savannah Stachelek (Sherrie), and Nicole Williams (Stacie); his brothers, Milson Spencer Clark, Roger W. Clark, Dennis Keith Clark, and John Russell Clark. He was preceded in death by his sister's, Elva-Delores Clark-Slatton and Janene W. Clark-Bates. He was a loving and kind father, husband, brother and son; and friend to all. He will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 12 p.m., both at Brusie Funeral Home.
