Obituary of Joseph Michael Rapozo

Michael Rapozo, "Buff" to some, passed away at the age of 58 on July 14, 2021 at Enloe Hospital in Chico, CA. He was born in Oakland, CA in 1963 and grew up in Antioch, CA. Mike worked for PG&E for most of his life. He met his wife, Kathryn of 32 years, in Eureka, CA. He enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, cooking, singing, and watching sports. He was everyone's best friend and he was always fun to be around. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Koenig Rapozo; parents: Joseph R. and Carol Rapozo; brother: Christopher Rapozo and wife Niki; sister: Tracy and husband Mike Woolf; in-laws: Robert and Karen Koenig; stepmother-in-law: Phyllis Koenig; and their families. Also, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Michael is loved by all and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Bidwell Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at Nash's Restaurant at 2:30 pm.
