Obituary of Ashley Nicole Beich

Ashley Nicole Beich, 37 years of age, was called home to our Lord on Thursday December 30, 2021.

Ashley was born on October 10, 1984, in Chico, California, to Tim Beich and Glenda Barker. She attended local schools, which included Shasta Elementary, Bidwell Junior High and Pleasant Valley High School. Ashley went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Chico.

Growing up, family and friends witnessed Ashley’s infectious love and passion for life. To all who knew her, Ashley was a unique, fun, and caring individual who made everyone happy to be in her presence. A beautiful woman inside and out, she always had a big smile and infectious laugh.

Ashley also loved sports, which she played throughout her school years. In High School she played field hockey, track and field, and was a member of the cheerleading squad for four years. And, of course, Ashley was always a devoted and avid Raiders fan!

Gone too soon, Ashley is already tremendously missed by surviving members of her family, including her parents, Tim Beich and Glenda Barker; stepparents, Michelle Beich and Tom Barker; brothers, Travis Beich and Tyler Beich; sister Tiana Carey; six stepbrothers and sisters; grandma, Barbara Wood; aunts, Debra Beich, Sandra Beich, Kim Schmid, and Chris Wood; uncles, Rick Schmid and Larry Wood; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews; and of course, her dog Zena. Ashely was greeted in heaven by her beloved grandparents, Glen Francis Wood, Everett Beich and Beverly Beich.

Ashley’s death is the embodiment of Robert Frost’s words, “Nothing gold can stay.” Our beautiful daughter was truly taken too soon, but we hope she’s dancing. Shine bright sweet girl, until we meet again.
