Becky Langel

A graveside service will be held for Becky Lee Langel, 76 of Chico, on Saturday, January 22 at 2 p.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.  Becky passed away at her home on January 12, 2022.

She was born May 6, 1945 to Raymond and Belle Bray in Maywood, CA.  Becky was raised in the Santa Ana area and moved to Chico in 1964. She owned and operated Osterhaug’s Office Maintenance in Chico for 35 years.

Becky enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, working crossword puzzles, playing cards and volunteering at Paw Prints Thrift Store. Becky was a true patriot.  She faithfully attended and often spoke at Memorial Day ceremonies at Glen Oaks Memorial Park.

Becky is survived by her husband Mike Langel; sister, Betty Ruz; daughter, Cynthia (Curt) Anderson, son, Walter Richards, son, Jim (Shawna) Richards, daughter, Rosemary (Billy) Aldridge, daughter, Bridget Keller, step daughter, Wendi (Jeff) Stark, and step daughter, Mandie (Ray) Statler; four grandchildren, Shawna Richards, Matthew Adridge, Caden Aldridge and Cassidy Statler.  Becky was preceded in death by her infant son Walter Lee Richards.
