Obituary of Elsie Irene Cooper

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 28th at 10 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park for Elsie Irene Cooper, 78 of Chico.  Elsie passed away on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at

Enloe Hospital.She was born on September 5, 1943 to Ivan and Alberta Ray in Philadelphia, PA.  In 1970 Elsie married Ralph Cooper in Chico.  

Elsie loved animals, loved being a mom, enjoyed making ceramics, and crocheting.

Her survivors include her husband Ralph of Chico; one son, Donald (Carrie) Cooper of Klamath Falls, OR and one grandson, Tucker Cooper of Portland, OR.  Elsie was preceded in death by her son Doran Cooper in 1988.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Butte Humane Society.  Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home.
