Obituary of Jeanne Marie Walton

Jeanne went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in Chico.  She was born on August 10, 1938 in Westwood, CA to Peter and Marion Narbaitz. Jeanne was raised in Chester and graduated from Chester High School in 1956.  She went on to attend Chico State where she majored in nursing.  Her hobbies included stained glass, making quilts and cooking.  In her life she lived in many places but returned to Chester in retirement.  Jeanne was a hospice caregiver for 14 years.  She was devoted to her family, kind and loving to her friends, always willing to give a helping hand and will be missed by the lives she touched.  Her father died when she was 7 years old and Jesus Christ became her father for the rest of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Rayna Allen, sons, Bob (Diane) Harbeson and Bill Harbeson, grandchildren, Whitney (Dustin) Mann, Chelsea Totman, Olivia Totman, Clayton and Callin Harbeson, sister, Rayna Simpson, great grandchildren, Emma Jeanne Mann and Ava Louise Mann.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home in Chico.
