Obituary of Benjamin John Chambers

Ben Chambers

Benjamin John Chambers passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Enloe Hospital. Ben was born in Chico in 1968 to Tom and Charlotte Chambers. He graduated from Durham High School, attended Butte College and graduated from Chico State with a degree in agriculture and business.

Ben worked for Lohse Mills, John Taylor, then went on to Napa and managed vineyards for B.V. and Silverado. He returned to Durham to help manage family almond orchards and went on to develop an almond orchard with his brother Mike, which he managed.

Ben married Marnie Sey on December 23, 2000. He is remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, curiosity and his love of life. Ben will be forever missed by his wife Marnie, parents Tom and Charlotte, brother Mike, an extended family, and his cherished friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 19th at 11 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home.
