Clarence Robert, “Jeff”, Jeffries, age 92, passed away on May 12, 2023 at his home in Chico, CA. He was the widow of Barbara Sue, “Bobbie”, Jeffries. They shared 50 years of marriage together.

Jeff was born in Colby, Kansas and was the son of Harold and Hazel Jeffries. He was a lumberman in Oregon, served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict, and worked in the grocery store industry for over 30 years until his retirement.

He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing wherever he lived but the Columbia, Sacramento, and Feather rivers were amongst his favorites. He was also a master craftsman and carpenter and enjoyed doing home improvements for his family and neighbors. He was known for taking up various projects and quickly acquired the skillset needed. He was a soft spoken, kind and genuine man that loved his family, friends, and animals with intention.

He is preceded in death by wife, Barbara (Bobbie); Brother Lester; Sisters, Myrna, Caroline, and Wanda; Son, Dave Jeffries (Laura); and grandson, Brian Jeffries. He is survived by brothers, Lee and Clifford Jeffries; Sons, Steven Jeffries (Dina), Michael Sutton (Darlene); daughters, Michelle Stewart, Lori Jeffries, and Melissa Bray; 9 grandchildren - Anna Jeffries, Alec Jeffries, Sheila Jeffries, Naomi Jeffries, Christina Jeffries, Jason Sutton, Adam Sutton, Sarah Stewart, Ashley Raymond; and numerous great grandchildren.
