Obituary of James Lawrence Crull

Born to James and Margaret Crull in Newport Beach Ca, where he grew up and graduated from high school. Most of his summers were spent riding his dirt bikes with his brother Mike and friends, hanging out at the beach. After high school he moved to Chico, CA which became his home for over 45 years. He made a lot of close friends, some of which became his riding buddies.  He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, swimming in the creek, riding his bike all around town, and the trails. If he wasn’t home BBQing Jimmy burgers, you could find him at the taco truck getting burritos to share with his stepdad Gary. He also raced at Hangtown Motocross events and loved showing off to his family and friends. He loved his job which took him to many beautiful places. His favorite was the Cayman Islands as he loved the blue waters and sandy beaches. His nick name became Gypsy Jim because of his free spirit always ready to go. Live free Jim and in peace, we will all miss you; we love you! He is survived by his fiancé Linda, sisters Marilyn Kesner, Linda Robson, Karen Wolff, Margi Flemington. Stepbrothers Kyle Crull, Howard Waugh, Rich Waugh. Stepsister Lori Johns, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nephews, nieces, aunt, many cousins, and a lot of friends.
