Obituary of Ronald Brett Herseth

He is preceded in death by his Father Wesley, his Mother Melba and a much loved niece Rachael Ann. He is survived by his brother Randy (Glorene) Herseth, his sisters Jackie and Barbara Herseth, aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many wonderful friends. If it was an outdoor activity Ronnie loved it. He never missed an opening day of dove season and looked forward to squirrel hunting with great friends every spring in Likely, CA. He enjoyed wild pig hunting every year with his friend Joe. He hunted just about anything that had a season. He was an incredible motorcycle rider and would have won a wheelie contest on any given day. In 2006 he started Hackmasters, a 22 long gun competition held every June in Capay, CA. It has gotten bigger and more popular every year. There were very few years where Ronnie didn’t place 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, until his health prevented him from competing.
