Kathrine Ann Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, dedicated teacher, and a loving and faithful wife to her husband Kevin Williams, passed away on October 30, 2023, at the age of 63. She leaves behind a legacy of love, education, cherished memories, and her unwavering commitment to God.
Kathrine was born to her loving parents, Tommy Kolosick and Elsie Kolosick, on December 17, 1959. She grew up alongside her twin sister, Karen, and her younger sister, Jan, forming a love and friendship that would last a lifetime.
Kathrine is survived by her husband, Kevin Williams, and her three children, Kelli Koehn, Kami Worthington, and Kip Williams, who will always carry her love in their hearts. She was a devoted grandmother to 11 grandchildren: Carter, Remington, Kimber, Maggie, Dakota, Manasseh, Benjamin, Zachariah, Joanna, Adalyn, and Lauryn, who were a constant source of joy and pride for her.
Kathrine's passion for education touched the lives of countless elementary school children throughout her teaching career. Her dedication and enthusiasm in the classroom left a lasting impact on her students, inspiring a love for learning in each child fortunate enough to be in her classroom. Her influence extended beyond textbooks and lessons, as she instilled valuable life lessons and encouraged her students minds to reach their potential.
In addition to her roles as a wife, mother, and teacher, Kathrine was also a committed Christian. God’s Word and her trust in Christ guided her throughout her life, providing her with strength, love, and compassion which she shared with everyone she met. Her faith and spiritual influence was evident through her ministry beginning at Bible college, continuing at Gospel Light Baptist Church in Marion, Iowa, and ending at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and Schools in Chico, California. Throughout all of these ministries, she touched the hearts of many with her dedication, kindness, and unwavering belief in the power of God’s Word. Her faith and ministry was a source of inspiration and comfort to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her warm smile, compassionate heart, and unwavering support endeared her to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her kindness, strength, and the love she shared with her family, friends, church and students.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathrine's life will be held on Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 AM at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Chico, CA. Please join us in commemorating the life and memories of Kathrine Ann Williams.
