Obituary of Myrna Nelson

Myrna Nelson 86, of Chico passed away on October 18 ,2013 in Chico. She was born on August 31, 1927 in San Jose, Ca. Myrna lived a full life. She leaves behind many loved ones whom she touched so deeply. Ginnie Lutz {Niece}, Kevin and Holly Nelson {Stepson and wife}, Hazel and Don McClaskey {Sister- in -law and husband}, Wyatt Allen {Nephew}, Darlene Ryer {Niece}, Will Allen {Nephew}, 9 grand-nieces and nephews. Myrna could crochet anything and loved family time playing games. She always made sure to put on her makeup no matter what the day may bring. Her jobs throughout her life entailed working for Bank of America in San Jose, Crown Drugs in Capitola, as well as ownership of her own restaurant in Paradise, Ca. We would like to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Dr. Robert Randolph, Candace, Ashley, Kathy, Gary Smith {Nephew} and the rest of the amazing staff at Enloe Cancer Center for treating Myrna like a part of their family. Any charitable donations can be made in her memory to Enloe Cancer Center. At Myrna's request, there will be no services. She will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose next to her husband.
