Obituary of Robert Allinger

ROBERT CLENTON ALLINGER Jan 2, 1924-Oct 21, 2013 A graveside service will be held on Tuesday , October 29, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park for Robert Allinger, 89 of Ord Bend, Ca. Robert passed away on Monday October 21, 2013. He was born in Chico to Harry and Alma Irene Allinger January 2, 1924. Robert attended school in Chico and lived in Chico until the early 1970's when he and his brother Edward moved to the Ord Bend area to farm Almonds. Robert and his father had raised bees in Chico and so he continued this love of bee keeping for many years while living in the Ord Bend area. Hunting and fishing were on his No.1 recreation list. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, half brother Allison Allinger, brothers Leland, Edward and Donald Lee, sisters Evelyn Allinger and Thelma Penny. He is survived by brothers Arnold and Henry of Ord Bend and sisters Jessie Coon and Alma May Allinger of Chico and many nephews and cousins.
