Obituary of Melva Button

A graveside service will be held for Melva Dean Button, 65 of Chico, on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Melva passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Chico. She was born July 16, 1943 to Lawrence and Nadine Scott in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She lived in Missouri until she was eight years old and then moved to Chico. Melva loved going to yard sales, fishing, hunting and going to the coast. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dan Button of Chico; son, Larry (Katie) Button of Chico; two brothers, Melvin Scott of Paradise and William Scott of Dixon.
