Obituary of Betty Lou Thompson

BETTY THOMPSON No services will be held for Betty Lou Thompson of Chico. Betty passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008. Betty was 79. Betty was born August 24, 1928 in Madera, Calif. to Edgar and Janie Hubbard. She attended schools in Madera, Calif. She worked as a cook at Plumas Pines in Lake Almanor, Calif. for over 15 years. Betty was a member of the Chico Eagles Lodge, and loved to do needlepoint and crossword puzzles. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Thompson, and two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, George, Barbara, and Harry; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lucille Armstrong and Connie Frazel and two brothers, Lemmie Hubbard and Boyd Hubbard. All arrangements are under the direction of the Brusie Funeral Home in Chico.
