Obituary of Lucy Pershall

Lucy Ann Pershall was born May 10, 1941 in Chico, California and passed on March 23, 2008 in her home in Chico due to a 1 year long battle with cancer. Her parents were Joseph Skala & Ruth Thompson. She attended Shasta Elementary School, Chico Jr. High & Senior High school. In December 1964 she married Kenneth Pershall who preceded her in death in 2001. She worked as an escrow officer for Mid Valley Title, beginning in 1959 and retiring in December 2001. She loved her grandsons, cooking, gardening, cake decorating, painting and sewing. Surviving family members are: daughter Dee Palmer of Chico, grandsons; Brian and Kevin Palmer of Chico, sister; Betty Joiner of Los Molinos, brother; Joseph Skala of Fairfield and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Park Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Please send memorial contributions to Enloe Hospice.
