Obituary of Zola Thompson

A pot luck gathering of family and friends will be held for Zola Thompson, 80 of Red Bluff, on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at 2B Fairoaks Cir. in Chico. Zola passed away Friday, November 7, 2008 in Red Bluff. She was born in Oroville and raised by her grandparents in Dobbins. Zola worked as a beautician for fifty years. She married Joe Thompson on July 4, 1972 in Reno, NV. Zola enjoyed craft work. Her survivors include her son, David Williams; daughter, Diane Jones; sister, Pat Faight; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe in 1995 and her son, Mike Williams in 1999. Zola was loved by her family and will be greatly missed. May she rest in peace.
