Obituary of Marion Sansone

Marion Grace Sansone passed away in her winter home, here in Chico, on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2008. She was born July 27, 1921 to Angus and Grace Madden in Woodland, CA. She graduated from Dixon High School and in 1943 received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from UC Berkeley. In June of 1946, she married her husband of 62 years, Vincent, and together raised six children. Marion and Vincent spent the majority of each year in Lake Almanor where she was an avid golfer. Along with being a pet lover of dogs and cats, she enjoyed gardening, photography and knitting. She also found time to be a health and exercise aerobic instructor. Marion's survivors include her husband, Vincent; sons, Vincent of Vallejo, CA, Stephen of Salem, OR and Mark of Folsom, CA; and daughters, Mary of Redding, CA, Katherine of Oakland, CA and Diana of Albuquerque, N.M. along with many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
