Obituary of Audrie Arthur

August 7, 1913 - April 16, 2009 Audrie was born to Mary Rebecca and Frank Evans on August 7, 1913 and left this world peacefully to be with her Lord & Savior on April 16, 2009. She was born and raised in Forestville, CA, graduating from Santa Rosa High School. She married Kenneth Arthur October 5, 1935. She was a loving wife and mother who dedicated her life to raising her family. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was baptized in 1927. Audrie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth; her son, Don; her daughter, Marilee (Box); grandson, Dan Box, Jr.; and her twin sister, Edrie. Audrie is survived by her son-in-law, Dan Box, Sr.; granddaughter, Diane (Matt) Egan; grandson, Ron (Tina) Box; granddaughter-In-law, Pat Box-Fingarson; great- grandsons, Daniel, Bryan, and Stephen Box; great- granddaughters, Nicole (Nick) Moretto, Courtney Wampler, Tanessa, Kendra, and Tristan Egan; as well as two great-great-grandsons, Dino Box, and Anthony Moretto. In her earlier years, she lived in Santa Rosa with her husband and two children. She loved being a wife and mother and had many talents, including knitting, needlepoint, and was an excellent seamstress; sewing many of her children's clothing as well as clothes for her grandchildren. In 2001, she moved to Chico to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She loved reading the Bible daily and visiting with family and friends. She had a positive outlook on life, with a great sense of humor, and was always sweet and loving. She passed away at home with her family by her side. She will be missed deeply.
