Obituary of Gary Harmon

Gary Harmon passed away at home, with family by his side, after a long battle with cancer August 7, 2009. He was 58 years old. Gary was born August 8, 1950 to Robert and Betty Harmon in San Francisco, CA. He attended El Camino High School and San Mateo J.C. His career spanned 35 years in the communication and cable industry; he last worked for Motorola Corp. Gary enjoyed many outdoor sports, fishing, hunting, hiking, golf, watching both football and baseball games and a love for cars and traveling, but his greatest love was for his grand-children and family. Gary is survived by his parents; his three sons, Gary Jr., Daniel, and Shane Harmon; one daughter, Leanna Harmon; a brother, Bob Harmon, Jr.; and sister, Sue Kupferman; along with two grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brusie Funeral Home, followed by burial at Chico Cemetery.
