Obituary of Jessie Wittmeier

A memorial service for Jessie Wittmeier will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Brusie Funeral Home. Jessie passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 in Chico. She was born December 27, 1921 in Pollack, South Dakota to Albert and Florence Gilbertson. Jessie attended Pollack high School. Jessie worked for Lee Pharmacy in downtown Chico for more than 20 years. She was an avid golfer, and a fan of local baseball teams (Chico Heat and Chico Outlaws), and gardening. She is survived by sons, Edward Wittmeier, Wayne Wittmeier, and Chuck Wittmeier, all of Chico and Russell Wittmeier of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Adam Wittmeier and Kristen Wittmeier of Chico, and a brother, Earl Gilbertson of Chico.
