Obituary of Norma Patterson

A Graveside Service for Norma Patterson, 85, of Chico, will be conducted on Monday, January 4, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Glen Oaks Memorial Park. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 27, 2009. Norma was born June 13, 1924 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles and Anna Turner. In 1943 she met and married Merle "Pat" Patterson of Chico. Norma worked as an enumerator for private companies as well as the US Department of Agriculture. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Merle and her son, Merle Jr. Norma is survived by her daughters, Patti Sowder and Barbara Joronen and her husband, Richard Joronen; three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren, all of Chico. Arrangements are under the direction of Brusie Funeral Home.
