Obituary of Ruth Collins

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Ruth Adrienne Collins, 75 of Paradise, on Monday, January 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Willows. She passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Enloe Hospital. Ruth was born May 2, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan. In 1954 she married her high school sweetheart Edward Collins in Saginaw. They lived on National Wildlife Refuges in many Midwestern states before moving to California in 1970. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Edward Collins of Paradise; four daughters, Kimberlee Eidman and Susan Collins of Willows, Janet Beane and Amy King of Chico; nine grandchildren, one brother Howard Smith and one niece Linda Weilbacher of Ventura. A Rosary service will be held Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at the Brusie Funeral Home.
