Obituary of Helen Oates

Helen Louise Oates Helen Oates passed away January 15, 2010 at the age of 86. She was born to Charles and Mable Doty on July 2, 1923 in Independence, Missouri . Helen moved to Riverside, CA in 1946 and after living in several other towns she moved to Santa Rosa where she retired from Pacific Telephone after 34 years in 1982.While living in Santa Rosa she became member of the Eastern Star. Helen moved to Chico in 1988. She joined and remained a member of the Church of Christ in Chico until her passing. Helen is survived by her daughter Sandra Johnson (Floyd) 3 grandchildren Jonathan, Wesley and Joshua along with several aunts, uncles and cousins in Missouri . Funeral services for Helen will be held Thursday January 21, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Church of Christ on east Lassen Ave. in Chico . Condolences may be sent online at BrusieFH.com
