Obituary of Linnea Jeffries

A Memorial Service will be held for Linnea Marie Jeffries, 65 of Sacramento, on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Brusie Funeral Home. She passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 in Sacramento. Linnea was born December 10, 1944 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Ernest and Maria Kleinschmidt. She worked for 25 years as a floral designer in Durham and Sacramento. Linnea was Past President of Ladies Elks, was a 4-H livestock leader, little league coach, member of California Assoc. of Nurserymen, and volunteer for the Sacramento Jazz Festival. Her survivors include two sons, David (Susan) Jeffries of Idaho, Jeff (Debbie) Jeffries of Idaho; one sister, Marlene (Roger) Merlo of Chico; granddaughters, Jeana and Keely; and grandson, Weston. Donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society in care of the Brusie Funeral Home.
