Obituary of Phyllis Brouse

Phyllis A. Brouse, 85, passed away on the morning of April 3, 2010 in Redding, CA. Phyllis was born June 19, 1925 in Wellington, KS to Harold Stuart and Ruby Atchison. Phyllis retired in 1979, after 29 years of being the Communications and Records Supervisor for the US Dept. of Agriculture. After which she had moved to Paradise, CA with her husband of 40 years, Charles Brouse. In 1980 she became a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church and the Paradise Gem and Mineral Club. Phyllis is survived by her children, James Readinger, Brenda Cahoon and Joyce Readinger; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A family and friends graveside service will be held at Glen Oaks Memorial Park on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Brusie Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
