Obituary of Elizabeth Garver

Elizabeth 'Bette' Garver Beloved mother, sister and grandmother passed away peacefully on April 16 in Huntersville, NC. Remembered for her beautiful smile, her kindness to others, and her unbridled work ethic. She loved children and animals especially her dogs. Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 6, 1923 to Peg and Charles W. Brent and older sister of Mary Lou Yandell presently of Siquem, Washington. She attended Michigan State Univerity and served in US Marine Corps from 1943-46. Married Arthur C. Wiesenberger in 1950 and relocated to Los Angeles area. Children include Lynn Wiesenberger 1951-1953 and Kurt A. Wiesenberger born in 1953 presently of Mooresville, NC. Mother-in-law to Debra and Grandmother to Troy, Karl, and Chris Wiesenberger. Married to Harry G. Garver in 1975 and lived in Oroville, CA from 1980 to 2004. She enjoyed voluteering for various local organizations including Oroville Hospital. Visitation will be Thursday 4/22 from 5 to 8 pm. at Brusie Funeral Home. Graveside services at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico, Friday, 4/23 at 11am. Family asks that donations be made to Alzheimers Association in lieu of flowers.
