Obituary of Pauline Sandoval

Pauline "Eva" Sandoval, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away September 20, 2010 peacefully in her home, surrounded by friends and loved ones. She was born June 22, 1930 in Brawley, CA, where she lived and started her family until moving to Northern California in 1965. She married her second husband, Jose Sandoval in 1968. The two settled in Chico in 1969, where they finished raising her eight sons. She is survived by her 8 sons, Ramon Lopez and wife, Paula, Jose Lopez and wife, Mary, Salvador Lopez and wife, Sharon, Mario Lemos and wife, Cathy, Sam Lemos and wife, Sheri, Roy Lemos and wife, Roxie, Steve (Edward) Lemos and wife, Sherry, and Rudy Lemos, honorary son, George Hernandez; grandchildren, Monica, Francisco, Ceceila, Ramon, Marietta, Mary Jo, Eva, Jacinto, Heather, Cyrus, Nicholas, Stephanie, Jennifer, Matthew, Ceceila, Andrew, Antonia, Crystal, Sylvia, Daniel, Bella; and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Above all, she treasured her children and grandchildren more than anything in this world. She was very social and had many friends. She enjoyed visiting with friends and family. She enjoyed helping others in their time of need; she was thoughtful, generous, and happy to sacrifice for others. Her occupation was a personal care attendant. She was a member of the following social groups: The Eagles Aerie F.O.E. 218, VFW 1555 Auxillary, Catholic Daughters of America, and Comite Mexicano Sucursal #28. Her family is thankful for the time they had with her as a loyal, dedicated, and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. The Viewing will be held on Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010 at 5 p.m. and the Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. The Funeral will be held on Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. You may direct any questions to Mary Jo at 530-521-2911.
