Obituary of Marjorie Muzzall

MARJORIE JUNE MUZZALL Marjorie passed away at her home on Nov. 24, 2010 in Chico, CA. She was born June 5, 1937 in Thief River Falls, MN. After graduating from high school in 1955, she entered nursing school in Minneapolis, MN. Upon completion, she was employed by Abbott Northwestern Hospital and met and married Dr. Richard Muzzall. In 1965, the Muzzall's moved to Yakima, WA, where they lived for 13 years and raised 3 sons. In 1978, the Muzzall's moved Anchorage, Alaska, when Dr. Muzzall took a position with Anchorage Medical and Surgical Clinic. Following Dr. Muzzall's death in 1990, Marjorie returned to Minnesota and attended the College of St. Catherine, where she obtained a Certificate of Chaplaincy. In 1998, she moved to Chico, CA. She is survived by her three sons, Murray (Gabriela) of Lancaster, CA, Stephen of Sunland, CA, and Mark (Norma) of Chico, CA; her mother, Dagny Irvin of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, and brothers, Kenneth and George Irvin of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Our Divine Savior Church at 1:30 p.m. A Reception at the church will follow.
