Obituary of Frank Fiscus

FRANK JAMES FISCUS JR. A Memorial Service for Frank "Sonny" Fiscus, will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Brusie Funeral Home. Frank was born in Iowa in 1924, to Frank and Emma Fiscus. He passed away at his home in Chico on June 17, 2011, at the age of 87. Frank worked for Diamond International and later retired from Chico State. He was a member of the Eagles and the NRA. He loved fishing and camping and the excitement of 500cc flat track racing. He also was an avid 49er fan, but most of all he loved the time spent with his grandchildren. Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Katherine; son, Frank and daughter, Wendy Gillespie, and three grandchildren, Bradley, Brittney and Brooke, all in Chico, and a brother, Les Fiscus and sister, Doris Zimmerman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any Cancer Association of your choice, or the Diabetes Foundation, in care of Brusie FH.
