Obituary of Gary McKampson

A Graveside Service will be held for Gary Wayne McKampson, 54 of Chico, on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Gary passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2011. He was born January 17, 1957 to Cecil and Sondra Jo McKampson in National City, CA. Gary graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in 1976. He worked as a house painter for Charles Crabtree for many years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Sondra Jo and Pete Beltramo of Chico; three sisters, Barbara McKampson of Magalia, Tracie Beltramo of Chico and Jessica McKampson of Oklahoma; two brothers, Kenny Beltramo of Corning, and Morgan McKampson of Oklahoma; six nieces and nephews, Matthew, Patrick, Nathan, Blake, Karlie and Theresa, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Julie and his father, Cecil. Donations may be made in his memory to the Work Training Center, in care of the Brusie Funeral Home.
