Obituary of John Propin

John Propin was born April 5, 1926 in Mountain View, CA, and passed on August 25, 2011 in Chico. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 plus years, Carmen Cano Propin. He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Wiley (Gil), Janet Kiefer, and Joni McKay (Jim), along with seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. John served in the Navy and Coast Guard during WWII in the Philippines and was very proud to have served his country. He was a great family man and loved life tremendously. Viewing will be held on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Brusie Funeral Home, followed by a Service at 12:00 p.m. at Chico Cemetery.
