Obituary of Roy La Rue

Nov. 30, 1943 - Oct. 11, 2011 Our beloved Dad, Husband and PaPa, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at the age of 67, after a long and courageous battle with Cancer. He was born Nov. 30, 1943 in Cambria, VA. He has owned Butte Custom Upholstery in Chico for more than 30 yrs. and was a master of his craft. He is survived by his loving wife, Angela; sons, Roy Jr. and Jason; daughters, Dara (Mel) Reynolds and Julie (Tony) Travis, and 9 wonderful grandchildren. The family would like to thank Enloe Cancer Center and Butte Home Health for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Chico Eagles Hall, 1940 Mulberry St. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society or Kirshner Wildlife Foundation.
