Obituary of Mary Wagner

Graveside Services for Mary Wagner will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park in Chico. A reception will follow at the Chico Eagles Hall. Mary was born Oct. 2, 1919 to Verginio and Maria Linhares in W. Warrick, RI. She passed away peacefully on April 21, 2012, in Chico, at the age of 92. Mary is survived by sons, Fred (Sharon) Moniz; Richard Moniz and Jim (Cheri) Moniz; sisters, Virginia, Laura, and Adelina, along with 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Stanton; daughter-in-law, Barbara Moniz, and siblings, Manuel, Sally, Naues, Edith, Amilia, Marie, James & Charlie. The loves of Mary's life were her sons and her beautiful flower garden. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the Peg Taylor Center.
