Obituary of Anne Fritz

Anne Margaret Fritz, 81, passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2012 with family by her side. She was born in Chico, CA to Samuel and Alice Mae Thompson on April 16, 1931, and was a life long Chico resident. She attended Chico schools and married Ralph Fritz in 1950. She worked for many years at Continental Nut Company, but devoted most of her life to being a mother and grandmother. Thru the years, she most enjoyed taking care of her family. She had a magical way of keeping track of all the latest events happening in all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren lives. She was amazing. This life long love and connection with family was confirmed by the support and care from all her children during her declining health. She will be greatly missed but will always be in our hearts. She is preceded by her husband, Ralph; and her six brothers and sisters, Raymond, Lawrence, Alice, Ruby, Mabel and Samuel. She is survived by her six children, Sharyn (Tom) Sigel, Adele (Del) Conroy, Ralph Fritz, Jr., Cheryl Fritz, Laurie (David) Sloggy, and Debbie (Eric) Munsterman; eight grandchildren, Lora, Lindsey, Ashley, Jessica, Caitlin, Matthew, Nicholas and Samantha; six great-grandchildren, Caden, Liam, Jordyn, Chase, Cody and Finn. Anne shared with family and friends her love of children, nature thru gardening and camping and the appreciation of all animals. Special acknowledgement to Thelma Kapps, friend and walking partner. A Viewing will be held Monday, June 18, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Memorial Donations can be made in honor of Anne to the American Cancer Society or your favorite charity.
