Obituary of Lona McMahan

A funeral service will be held for Lona McMahan, 90, of Chico, on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. Lona passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 in Chico. She was born on September 16, 1922 to Willie and Allie Wiggington in Howe, OK. Lona loved people and cooking and was passionate about any and every sport. She was adored by her family and friends. Lona retired from the Credit Bureau after 29 years. Her survivors include her daughter, Barbara (Richard) Maxey of Chico; two grandsons, Justen Maxey and Ryan Henrick; two granddaughters, Meredith Henrick and Shannon Moore; one great-grandson, Jackson Henrick; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
