Obituary of Barbara Matthews

BARBARA FAYE MATTHEWS Barbara Faye Matthews left this earth on January 29 ,2013. Born and raised in Chico, California and attended Chico schools. Her husband Hogan Matthews predeceased her on November 14, 2012. They spent many happy years together and traveled the world. She is survived by daughters Janet Acain (Patrick), Darcy White (Keith), five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Her passions were bridge, dominos, shopping (QVC) and the Elks. There will be a celebration of life at The Chico Elks Lodge, 1705 Manzanita Ave., Chico on Thursday, February 7th, at 2:00 pm. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Butte County Humane Society, Chico Elks Lodge, or Favorite charity of your choice in care of the Brusie Funeral Home.
