Obituary of Stacy Harmon

STACY RENEE (MARTINE) HARMON A Celebration of Life Service is planned on Feb. 16, 2013, at 12:30 pm at the Chico Elks Lodge (530) 343-5617 for Stacy. Stacy passed away on February 8, 2013 in Magalia, Ca. She was born on June 12, 1963 to Ronald G. Martine (father deceased), Jeannette (Martine) Wilbur (mother) in San Jose, Ca, and then moved to Chico at three years old. She was married to Rob Harmon for 16 years. She also graduated from Chico High School & Yuba College (AS Degree). Stacy was employed at Feather River Hospital, Radiology Technician in the Mammography Clinic (would have celebrated 25 years in the X-ray field this year. Stacy loved life and loved people, with a social calendar planned well into the future, but she loved her family first and foremost. Having been athletic from the time she was a child, she was very involved in activities with her two daughters; helping to raise and show their 4H goats, coaching baseball and basketball, chauffeuring the teams to practices and tournaments, and she participated in PTA. Stacy loved the outdoors, especially spending time with family and friends at the Buck's Lake family cabin snowmobiling in the winter, and hiking, boating, and kayaking in the summer. She was a trendsetter during her youth as one of few female CDF firefighters while working her way through college. Stacy will be remembered for the ever present smile on her face, her contagious laughter, strength of character, and for being a kind, generous, and amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by many. Survivors: Robert Harmon (husband), two daughters, Rhonna (14 years old) and Trinity (10 years old) Harmon, all currently reside in Magalia, and Jeannette (Martine) Wilbur (mother), Richard Wilbur (step-father), two brothers, Ron Martine and Jeff Martine (all currently reside in Chico), mother-in-law Marilyn, father-in-law Lee, sisters-in-law Corinne, Amy, and Sara, brother-in-law Karry, and several nieces and nephews.
