Obituary of Donald Anderson

A funeral will be held for Donald Clifford Anderson, 81 of Chico, on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the Brusie Funeral Home. Don passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Chico. He was born March 23, 1931 in Chico. In 1948 he enlisted in the Navy and served in Korea. On November 23, 1952 he married Donna Millard on Chico. Don worked at lumber mills for 35 years as a lumber handler. He is survived by his wife Donna of Chico; one daughter, Donella McAlister of Chico; two brothers, David and Charles Anderson both of Dayton, OR; one sister Barbara Anderson of Dayton, OR; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Anderson and Deana Harbord. Visitation will be held from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
