Obituary of Jane Griffin

JANE A. GRIFFIN At here request, no services will be held for Jane A. Griffin of Chico who died Feb. 27, 2013 in Chico. She was born June 14, 1918 in Covington, Kentucky, attended schools in Hamilton/Ohio and graduating from Steele High School in Dayton, Ohio. She worked for Northrop Aircraft in 1936; then the Experimental Test Pilots at North American Aviation until 1945. She married Donald W. Griffin January 17, 1942 and raised three sons in Inglewood, California where she worked for the Inglewood Police Department for 22 yrs. as a secretary in the administration offce. Upon retiring, Mrs. Griffin moved to Chico in 1989. She is survived by three sons, Edward of Palm Desert, Ca; Robert L. and James C. Griffin of Chico, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
