Obituary of Verna Carper

VERNA LEE CARPER A Celebration of the life of Verna Lee Carper will be held Tuesday March 19,2013 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Brusie Funeral Home. Mrs. Carper passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at her home here in Chico. Verna was born November 3, 1944 in Downing, CA to Arnold Laible and Pearl Garvis, she attended schools in southern California, and moved to the Chico area in 1969. Vema married Bob Carper in 1978 and they have had 35 happy years together. Verna worked at Feather River Hospital as an Office Clerk and later as a L.V.N. as a home care provider. Verna loved her social life and always enjoyed a good laugh with her friends and family, she also loved gardening, cooking and always kept a clean home for her family. She is survived by her husband Bob of Chico, her son Wayne Olson of Chico, her daughter Cindy Meier of Chico, and two grandchildren Breanna, and Brandon both of Paradise.
