Obituary of Bill Kutz

WILLIAM ("BILL") PILLSBURY KUTZ 11/12-55-3/19/13 Bill was born on November 12, 1955 in Chico, California, the son of Helen Marie Pillsbury Kutz and Robert Boyne and Marguerite Ellis Kutz. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Robert Wade Kutz (Eureka), Katherine Elizabeth Ichelson (Oroville), James Charles Kutz (Chico), Julie Thornton-Adams and her husband Mark (Newport Beach), Roy Ellis Kutz and his wife Elaine (San Francisco) and niece, Sarah Kutz, nephews, Brian Kutz, Cody Kutz, Kyle Kutz, Kyody Kutz and Alexander Adams. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Boyne Kutz and brother, Ted James Kutz. Bill was a local business owner of Tile Express located in Chico, California for over 30 years. Bill attended Hooker Oak, Sierra View, Bidwell Junior High and Pleasant Valley High School. Bill spent many years on the Chico Aqua Jets. He enjoyed many trips to Europe with his family, swimming at the Bear Hole, attending Cal Football and Rugby games, snow skiing at Mt. Lassen and summers at Butte Meadows. Bill was a master barbequer. Bill will always be remembered in our hearts as a kind and caring soul. He will be greatly missed. A memorial will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at the Ellis Residence, 7910 Humboldt Road, Butte Meadows, California. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brusie Funeral Home.
