Obituary of Eulalie Urrutia

A Mass of Christian Burial will be said for Eulalie Urrutia, 88, of Chico on Tuesday, August 13 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She died Tuesday, Aug 6th in Chico. She was born August 1, 1925 in St. Martin D'Arrossa France. She immigrated to the United States in 1960 after marrying Peter Urrutia. Eulalie was a homemaker and excellent seamstress. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crafts and spending time with friends. Being with her family was her greatest joy. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter. She is survived by her daughter Anne Marie Deadmond and son-in-law Scott; son Pierre and daughter-in-law Sandy; and her six grandchildren Justin Urrutia, Tori Urrutia, Shane Urrutia, Matt Urrutia, Erik Deadmond and Sean Deadmond. She is also survived by numerous relatives in France. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m Monday, with a Vigil Service at 7 p.m. at Brusie Funeral Home. Burial will be at Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Donations may be made to Notre Dame School or a charity of your choice.
