Obituary of Frances Elizabeth Webster

A graveside service for Frances Elizabeth Webster will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Glen Oaks Memorial Park on Hegan Lane and Midway in Chico. Frances went to be with the Lord on September 30, 2009. She was born to Sherrod and Eva Spurlock on March 24, 1925 on her grandmother's birthday in Orland. She, her twin brother, Frank, and her five sisters, Dorothy, Elva, Christina, Alberta, and Bernice, were educated in the Orland schools. On December 6, 1945, Frances and Charles Milfred Erickson, of Orland, were married. They had four children, Theresa Roberts (Ed) of ldaho, and triplets, Marlene Lorea (Robert Rustigian) of Mexico, Marsha Kaiser (Leonard) of Artois, and Merritt Erickson (Heidi) of Orland. Frances and Milfred were the first couple to have "Triplets" in Glenn County. Frances loved her family and cherished spending time with them. She also loved the Lord and her dear friends. She had attended for many years the Orland Evangelical Free Church and enjoyed singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School, and Vocational Bible School. Frances moved to Vina and married Donald Webster. He preceded her in death August 3, 1998. She was a member of the Vina Community Baptist Church. Frances moved back to Orland to be with family and friends and attended the First Baptist Church. Frances is survived by her four children, Merritt, Marsha, Marlene, and Theresa, nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to the Gideon International.
