Obituary of Marvin Lewis Stigers

Private services will be held for Marvin Stigers, 55 of Chico. He died on Monday, November 26, 2007. Marvin was born November 14, 1952 to Virgil and Evelyn Stigers in Los Angeles. He graduated from CSU Chico in 1980 with a degree in political science. In 1983 he moved his sculpture studio to Chico where he continued to create and sell sculpture at art shows in Chico and the bay area. His survivors include his mother, Evelyn Alley of Myrtle Creek, OR; two sons, Robert and James Stigers both of Chico; three sisters, Susan Stigers and Linda Johnson both of Myrtle Creek, OR and Evelyn Johnston of Granger, Ind; one brother, Kenneth Stigers of Fontana and his ex-wife Patricia Stigers of Chico. Arrangements are under the direction of Bidwell Chapel.
