Obituary of Hope Gregory Logan

Gregory View/Sign Guest Book HOPE GREGORY LOGAN A funeral service will be held for Hope Gregory Logan, former long time resident of Chico, on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Bidwell Chapel, Chico, California. Hope passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009 of natural causes in San Diego, California at the age of 88. Hope was born May 30, 1920 in Ottumwa, Iowa to William Paxton Gregory and Lucile Patterson Gregory. On February 17, 1943 she married Donald Lewis Logan, who preceded her in death in March 2000. She is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Penny) Lewis Logan of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Edward (Suzanne) William Logan of San Diego, California; her sister, Joan Ostrom Main of La Quinta, California; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the P.E.O. sisterhood for over 70 years, attended the Neighborhood Church of Chico, and during her retirement years, volunteered at the Chico Community Rehabilitation Hospital and worked extensively with the Chico Cat Coalition.
